Your kids will get a bang out of baking this lime-flavored pie with you. Let them help make the crust. All they have to do is pop some crackers into a zip-top bag and crush them with a rolling pin. They'll have fun, all right. And you'll have this delicious pie for dessert.

Valentine's Day is a week away, and excitement is in the air.  My children are so excited about Valentine's Day and the activities that surround it!  They are making Valentine's bags and boxes at school, and they are planning what they can do for their classmates.  They are already starting to sign valentines for their classmates, as it takes a while to sign your name that many times when you are 4 years old.  It's just a neat time of year. 

Tailgating Fun for Kids

I always love this time of year...  Fall weather is in the air, and football season is in full swing! 

When I was growing up (in Gulfport, MS), we spent Thursday nights in the fall at our Pee Wee League football games.  My brothers played football, and my sister and I were cheerleaders.  We were the Pizza Hut Bulldogs, and our dad was one of the coaches.  We were undefeated a couple of years, mainly because we were promised free pizza after every game that we won.  We made a grand entrance to the field before the game on a firetruck, and just had a great time!
